Digital PCR Multiplexing: Applying the dMIQE Guidelines for Reproducible Results

Live Webinar: October 22, 2026, 11 am ET, 8 am PT

For simple and absolute nucleic acid quantification, scientists in a variety of fields are turning to digital PCR (dPCR). By partitioning samples prior to amplification, dPCR allows for the detection of even rare events in a sample and makes multiplexing easy.

Like any type of PCR, scientists must carefully craft their dPCR experiments and report their protocols. The Minimum Information for Publication of Digital PCR Experiments (dMIQE) provides expert advice for designing and performing these assays.

In this webinar, brought to you by Bio-Rad, dPCR expert and co-author of the most recent dMIQE guidelines, Alexandra Whale, will overview this resource and discuss best practices. She will also showcase different dPCR technologies, including Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR), with an emphasis on multiplexing. Whether you are new to dPCR or are looking to take your experiments to the next level, this event will guide you toward rigorous and publication-ready experiments.

Topics to be covered in this webinar:

  • Planning and executing dPCR experiments
  • Utilizing the dMIQE guidelines
  • Real-world examples of multiplexing with dPCR
  • Reporting dPCR results
  • Comparison of different dPCR technologies
